Formulating an innovation strategy is as much about deciding what not do as it is about identifying the things you should be doing. The right scope of your innovation system depends on your type of value creating assets, your available resources, the market dynamics you are facing and the strategic goals you want to achieve. In this course you will analyse your situation, define the right innovation system for your company and plan for its implementation in only 12 weeks.

Program Format

  • Weekly Content

    A 45-min video explaining the module’s frameworks and how to use them for great results.

  • Weekly Group Discussions

    A one-hour online session for group discussions on case studies and Q&A on weekly contents.

  • Weekly Team Coaching

    A one-hour online session per team for idea-, team- and company-specific questions and guidance.

  • Weekly Exercises

    Plan sufficient time per week to complete the exercises of each module.

Success Factors

Know your playground

Make sure your results of this program will actually be relevant by defining the possible scope of your innovation system, including it’s topical and budgetary limits, prior to starting the program. You don’t want to end up suggesting a game that you don’t have the playground for.

Executive sponsors and leadership support

If you don’t have an executive on your team, get executive sponsors and broad support from leadership for this program. Your results will matter only, if you are bestowed with the responsibility and trust by decision makers. Plan alignment meetings for during the program.

Be prepared to tap into your network

Many program modules require you to collect information from internal and external experts, maybe also customers to gain valuable insights. Be prepared to contact those people during the program. If possible, start assembling a database with contact details beforehand.
